Originated from a picture I took of a crack in the sidewalk.  Nothing more than a typical crack but as I viewed it I thought of the journey we take.  Each step…we have to keep walking and we are always walking over some crack that is just below us.  Family, friends, health, work, life, society…..at some point one of our pieces we feel solid about has a crack.  I wanted the crack to reflect strength but a feel of ‘life’ so I added colours to it.  The spray paint allowed for the grainy feel of ‘even smooth times has some level of roughness to it.’
