Making the connection between the path you’ve taken and staring back at where you came from was what inspired this.  The ambiguity of forest or people with a sense of something either good or bad in the center was drawing me to it.  The idea that we all have gone through a forest and we continue to make our way through with no clear direction on whether the warmth is soothing….or danger.  We make those choices and I was showing what it looked like where I came from.
